I started with Sparhawk January 28, 2020, pulling both refrigerated and dry van trailers. I tend to run from Wisconsin to anywhere from upstate New York, Texas, southern California, Florida, and all points in between.  Like most drivers, I started looking for a positive change. For me an increase in revenue and an office staff that I could trust and rely on were paramount. As an owner operator, I drove to Wisconsin Rapids to meet with the owner Mark Sparhawk. By the time our meeting was over, I was convinced Sparhawk was where I needed to be. Mark was very honest and forthcoming and didn't try to sell me a bill of goods. He let me know how things work, what to expect, and what he expects from me.
To date, everything Mark told me in that initial meeting holds true. Since then, I have come to know most of the people in the office and our shop. I truly believe all the people I have met since starting with Sparhawk are committed to not only their individual jobs but also in making this a great company overall. Another thing which thoroughly impressed me was the longevity of many of the drivers. Many drivers have been part of the Sparhawk team for 10, 15, and even 20 plus years! That speaks volumes about this company and those involved. These things and so much more are what make Sparhawk special to me and God willing I will retire here.
If what I stated above is not enough to convince someone to join the Sparhawk team then let me add this, this company has something for everyone. Want to be home daily or weekly? No problem. Want to stay out and run longer miles? No problem. Company driver or owner operator? There are opportunities for both. All Sparhawk asks in return is to simply do your job and represent the company in the best possible light. Pretty simple formula if you ask me.
At the end of the day, Sparhawk offers opportunity but what you do with that opportunity is up to you!

Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a truck driver. After deciding I needed a career change, I got my CDL license and applied to Sparhawk on the internet.
